Yesterday I took myself down to a beautiful spot on the Marina here in Spain and felt grateful to have this time out of my busy schedule to chat with a fellow Yogini and founder of Liverpool Yoga Studios and Yoga Bears UK Estelle McCluskie.
These days when setting to create a business relationship I know it’s going to be beautiful when I see the friendship forming first. And Estelle and I could have talked all day about eating vegan, benefits of essential oils, green smoothie detoxes, meditation and gut health!
Why it’s important to feed your machine greens!
In a live last week on Facebook I spoke about how to be your beautiful self which is one of our biggest values here for living at Yummy Yoga Girl. I speak more about this in my blog The Art of Bold and Beautiful Living. As we sat chatting Estelle commented on how lovely my skin was of which I thanked her and myself for the care I spend on my wellbeing and skincare routines.
I just know when a women takes care of herself by the quality of her skin.
The skin is the largest organ on our body and it is believed by certain scientists that certain skin disorders such as eczema are related to gut health. Stress can be a factor too with stress marks and spots rising to the surface as the toxins fight their way out. So I have a yummy recipe for you to battle out those toxins and invite in good health and a happy belly.
I challenge you to drinking this for 3 days for breakfast and see if you can notice the benefits. Please note that you may need to go for pee pee more! This is a sure sign that your body is riding itself of the toxins and helping to drain the lymphatic system at the same time.
Green Machine – Green Smoothie Detox recipe
If and were possible choose organic as you are so worth it darling and it means your body doesn’t have to deal with any nasties!
Here’s what you need:
handful of spinach
1/2 teaspoon Moringa Powder
1/2 teaspoon Lucuma Powder
200ml Rude Health Almond Milk or Water Or Coconut Water
Sprinkle of pumpkin seeds and bee pollen (optional)
Mix it all together and then add a topping of your fav nuts or seeds
Sit back and feel the benefits of the green machine seeping into your pores, skin and soul.
